MINUTES MATTER

In 2018, Pittsburgh was devastated by a horrific mass shooting at the Tree Of Life Synagogue. First responders from UPMC, Pittsburgh’s premiere hospital, were first on the scene. We could not stand idly by after tragedy struck our community. So we developed Minutes Matter, an ongoing program that gives every Pittsburgher the knowledge and skills they need to respond to gun violence, overdoses, and other heath crises that are on the rise across the country.

To ensure that every member of the Pittsburgh community heard our call to action, we launched the program with a TV spot that ran during the 2020 Super Bowl.
